We are looking to recruit a Senior Director or junior MD to join a boutique investment bank based in Paris specialising in healthcare sector transactions. With a focus on delivering personalized financial advisory services, they empower European healthcare companies to navigate complex challenges and capitalize on strategic opportunities.

 

As the Healthcare specialist, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the firm’s healthcare investment banking practice. Leveraging your deep industry expertise and network, you will be asked to lead client engagements, oversee transaction execution, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of the firm’s healthcare practice.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Client Relationship Management:

  -Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, including corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and investors.

  -Understand clients' strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities to provide tailored financial advisory solutions.

  - Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients, providing expert guidance on M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic initiatives.

 

2. Transaction Leadership:

  -Lead and oversee the execution of healthcare sector transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, capital raises, and strategic partnerships.

  -Provide strategic direction and guidance throughout the deal process, from origination to closing, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.

  -Conduct thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation modeling to support transaction decisions and negotiations.

 

3. Business Development:

  -Drive business development efforts to expand our footprint in the healthcare sector and identify new client opportunities across the EMEA region.

  -Develop and execute targeted marketing and outreach initiatives to attract potential clients and enhance our market presence.

  -Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote our healthcare investment banking capabilities.

 

4. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  -Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

  -Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior bankers, analysts, and support staff, to deliver high-quality client service and achieve business objectives.

  -Create a supportive and inclusive team culture that values collaboration, integrity, and excellence.

 

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on healthcare sector transactions.

- Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and capital raises within the healthcare industry.

- Deep industry expertise and network with in the healthcare sector, including knowledge of key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading deal teams and driving transaction processes to completion.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.

PositionOverview:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with industry experts, gaining invaluable experience in executing transactions and supporting client engagements. Full tasks are broken down below.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Support:

  - Provide support in executing renewable energy M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation modeling,and due diligence.

  - Prepare presentation materials and pitchdecks to showcase investment opportunities to clients and investors.

 

2.Market Insight and Research:

  - Stay informed about renewable energy market trends, regulatory changes, and investment opportunities.

  - Conduct research and analysis to evaluate target companies and assess their strategic fit and growth potential.

 

3.Client Engagement:

  - Build relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, representing our firm with professionalism and expertise.

  - Assist in developing marketing materialsa nd presentations to attract new clients and showcase our firm's capabilities.

 

4.Team Collaboration:

  - Work closely with senior team members, legal advisors, and stakeholders to ensure successful transaction execution.

  - Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions, contributing insights and ideas to drive project success.

 

Qualifications:

-Master’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. An engineering background is advantageous but not essential.

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related field, with exposure to M&A transactions.

-Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ideally working with public companies and Private Equity clients.

-Knowledge of the renewable energy sector, including key players, market dynamics, and investment trends.

-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
